"حُب دافئ تحت الثلج" تدور أحداثها في باريس، ومن خلال تجارب رومانسية معقّدة ومتشابكة، تكشف الوجه الآخر لشاب مغربي مهاجر يبدو في الواقع بعيداً عن وطنه، لكنه قريب من هموم وطنه، تلك الهموم التي توازي همومه الشخصية المتمثلة في البحث عن رابط ناظم لهوية مبعثرة، والتي تقود إلى فضاءات حب مضطرب، حيث الشاب "عمر" القلق والموزع على علاقات تبدو ظاهريًا بعيدة عن المشاعر
يظلّ متمسكًا بأوهام تمنعه من الاعتراف بالحب كمبدأ وكواقع يعيشه، في حين أن الأحداث المتطوّرة تجعل كل شيء ينتهي ويبدأ من المشاعر اللدافئة التي تفيض من جهة "كارولين" الطالبة الفرنسية الباحثة عن نكهة شرقية تدفعها إلى غواية سفر بوهيمي إلى المغرب مع عمر لينتهي الوضع بهما إلى مأساة في الأخير.
وفي باريس يجد عمر نفسه دائماً مغموراً بعشق متوتر وغير واقعي لفتاة افتراضية لا يعرفها إلا عبر لقاء خاطف على شبكة الإنترنت، ويرتبط من جانب آخر بـ"كريمة" الفتاة المراكشية التي تنسج معه خيوط علاقة قوية تتماسك بواسطة طرق ملتوية ومعقدة، تنتهي في الأخير إلى أكثر الأساليب واقعية...
وهنا هل نستطيع من خلال الحب أن نكتشف ماهيتنا الإنسانية؟ ثم ماذا نحن نعني بالتحديد لذواتنا؟ وماذا نعني للآخرين بصفتنا جزءًا من هذه الكينونة؟..إنها رسالة الرواية.
