لكل لغة تعبيراتها الإصطلاحية التى يتفق عليها أهلها لتعطى معنا خاصا لا يتأتى من خلال الكلمات وهى منفصلة. وقد كان الاهتمام بالتعبيرات الاصطلاحية في اللغات الأوربية من زمن وإن خلت العربية من الإهتمام بهذه التعبيرات بالرغم من استخدام العرب لها من قديم الأزل وفي خطوة هامة نحو معجم يضم هذه المصطلحات قامت الدكتورة ( عزة حسين غراب)بهذه الدراسة في التراكيب والدلالات التى حواها القرآن الكريم. وإنقسمت الدراسة إلى ثلاثة أبواب وتمهيد التمهيد قام بتوضيح المقصود بالتعبير الاصطلاحي وسماته ومراتبه ، يلية الباب الاول فيما يتعلق بخصائص التعبير الإصطلاحي في القرآن الكريم. أما الباب الثاني فهو فيما يشير منها إلى الجانب الإنساني مثل العلاقات الانسانية وصفات الإنسان وغيرها ، ثم اخيرا الباب الثالث ويختص بالتعبيرات التى تشير إلى الجانب الديني.
