والكتاب يكشف النقاب عن أشراف زعيم الأمة (سعد زغلول) علي أول حركة كفاح وطني مسلح ضد الأحتلال البريطاني, رغم توليه منصب وزير الداخلية بجانب منصب رئيس الوزراء, وكان من نتائج ذلك أغتيال سردار الجيش المصري (السير لي سناك), مما أدي لتداعيات خطيرة أساءت للعلاقات بين حزب الأغلبية والمندوب السامي البريطاني, وما ترتب علي ذلك من نتائج غيرت تاريخ مصر الحديث والمعاصر.
