"كتبتها الأيام" ولعلّ الأيام تجيد التعبير أكثر منّا... غالباً ما تثير كتابة التاريخ الجدل، خصوصاً في بلدٍ مثل لبنان، لكلّ حدثٍ فيه رواية تختلف بين كل فريقٍ وكلّ معنيِّ، فيتوه المتلقي أو يجد نفسه منحازاً إلى الرواية التي تناسبه.
من هنا، فإن هذا الكتاب يشكّل مغامرة أراد الدكتور عبد الحسين عاصي خوضها، فهو وطنيّ ينبذ الطائفيّة، عِلّة العِلَل في لبنان، وهو، أيضاً، رشيقٌ في التعبير، فلا تشعر برتابة وأنت تقرأ صفحات الكتاب.
وما أرغب بالتوقف عنده هو إضاءة الكتاب على موضوع الإرهاب، وهو ملف غير جديد، كما قد يظن البعض، ولكن له عناوين مختلفة، من الإرهاب الإسرائيلي الذي مورس على الفلسطينيين واللبنانيين، وعلى شعوبٍ عربيّة أخرى، وصولاً إلى الإرهاب التكفيري، وقد تمّت مواجهتُه في الميدان السوري وعلى الحدود اللبنانية، وسقط فيه بعض الغرب.
كما أنّ مقاربة الكتاب ومؤلّفه لموضوع الإصلاح، جديرة بالتوقف عندها، وقد واكبنا قسماً منها، من موقع المتابع أو الضابط العسكري ثمّ قائد الجيش، فرئاسة الجمهورية، وقد حاولنا، في المواقع كلّها، أن نكون منسجمين مع قناعاتنا وتربيتنا الوطنية، ولم ننجرف مرّة إلى حقدٍ ولا إلى طائفية، ولا دخلنا في لعبة المصالح السياسيّة، ولو أنّنا دفعنا أثماناً لذلك.
وكنّا، وسنبقى، مع مقاومة الإرهاب، ومقاومة الطائفية، ومقاومة كلّ محتلّ لأرضنا اللبنانية، وخصوصاً مقاومة الطبقة السياسيّة التي أفسدت البلد وبعض شعبه، حتى وصلنا إلى القعر في كلّ شيء.
