يقول ستانديش: "الكوكب الذي إكتشفناه أنا وهكتور وحدنا، كنا ستتطلق في رحلتنا الفضائية، فيستيقظ العالم على حقيقة أنه ليس وحده، وسنُقيم إتصالاً مع سكان جونيبر الذين يفرّقون بين الصواب والخطأ، والذين يستطيعون إرسال الذبابات الخضر، والرجال ذوي المعاطف الجلدية، والسيد جانيل عبر ثقب النسيان المظلم، اتفقنا على تجنُّب المرور بالقمر، فمن يودُّ الذهاب إلى الوطن الأم، وإلى هناك كان على وشك أن ينصب علَمه الأسود والأحمر على سطحه الفضيّ اللاترابيّ!".
