في فترة دراستي للمسرح العالمي، ظهرت رغبتي الكبيرة لدراسة كل ما يحيط بالمسرح الإسباني، وكان مسرح "لوركا" هو العلامة الكبيرة التي توقفت مبهوراً أمامها، وجدته من الناحية التشكيلية والمضمون قد تفوق على الكثير من تلك المسارح التي كان تتجاوز معه زمنياً، كما وجدت الكاتب والشاعر "لوركا" قد استفاد كثيراً من التقاليد المسرحية التي ثبتها كتاب مسرحيون كبار في إسبانيا كانوا قد سبقوه إلى تأسيس فضاء تجاربهم من أمثال "لوب دي فيجا - كالديرون دي لاباركا - وفي إنجلترا "ييتس وأليوت" ويسجل له أنه نجح في التكوينات الدرامية التراجيدية الحديثة، وأيضاً في طرق العصب الكوميدي بشكل إنساني إجتماعي متحضر غير مبتذل، إلى الحد الذي تعتبر بعض مسرحياته صعبة التقديم إذا أريد تقديمها على خشبة المسرح، نجح لوركا في بعث تلك التكوينات والتقاليد الأندلسية العربية، كما ركز على إبراز قيّم الرجولة والصدق والتضحية والحب العنيف الشخصية الإسبانية أخذت عن العرب مواصفات كثيرة واضحة مثل الفعل الحاد والتفكير والتأمل والخيال وحب الأساطير والسحر ومعرفة الطالع، وعشق الصورة المتخيلة والتعبير من خلال التجسيد الصوري والكلمة المؤثرة انتشر شعر ومسرح لوركا في جميع دول العالم مثل إنتشار النار في الهشيم، يحمل دلالات قوته وإقترابه من العين ومحاكاة العقل بقوة، هذه رحلة في حياته وشعره ومسرحياته...
