بكاء الخادمة أيقظ الجد الذى كان مستغرقاً فى يوم لم يدرك حقيقة ما حدث بعد، ولكنه حين أدرك لم تهتز له أجفان ولم يحزن ولكن تمتم بعبارة إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.. فعاد إلى نومه يغيب قسراً عن الواقع الذى لم يبد أليما كما توقعت الخادمة، فإن الله اليوم استرد أمانته وأراح عباده بذلك.
