وبعدها يكون لمقام الحكم والأقوال والأمثال مقام آخر، كونها عبرًا تشرق الشمس لفائدتها؛ ولذلك طبقت شهرتها الآفاق، وتناولت شعوب الأرض بتداولها، كل بلغته.
وهذه الحكم والأمثال والأقوال تضم ذخيرة مدهشة من المعرفة في إطار الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل؛ لأنها نابعة من تجارب متشابهة رغم اختلاف وتعدد الأمم.
ومن هنا؛ فكل ما يأتي من الحكم السامية هي مدونات لتراث الإنسانية تؤصل الفائدة في أعماق البشرية.
وقد وفقني الله تعالى بفضله، ومنه، وكرمه لعمل هذا الكتاب ليضم بين دفتيه الفضائل التي يجب أن يتحلى بها الجيل الحالي والأجيال القادمة، والرذائل التي يجب تجنبها والابتعاد عنها، مؤكدًا ذلك بآيات من كتاب الله وأحاديث من سنة رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" ثم أتبعتها بالأمثال والأقوال والحكم من منثور الكلام ونظمه لتتضح الفكرة.
