من خلال هذه الدراسة حاولنا معالجة التداخل الاصطلاحي بين العديد من المفردات والاصطلاحات والمفاهيم، منها على سبيل المثال: التداخل بين استخدام المنهج والبحث، فوجدنا من يستخدم المفردتان للتدليل على معن واحد.
وهناك من لا يميز بين مشكلة البحث والظاهرة البحثية، فيستخدم الظاهرة كمفهوم مرادف للمشكلة، فى حين إن المشكلة أوسع نطاقاً من الظاهرة، وإن المشكلة قد تعبر عن سلسلة من الظواهر/ ويجد المتاعبه استخدام خاطئ لتحليل المضمون وتحليل المحتوى للتدليل على معن واحد، إلا إن المعنى الحرفي والدلالي للمفردتان مختلف، فالمحتوى اشمل من المضمون وأقل دقة وتخصيص، وان المضمون أكثر تخصيصاً للمعنى المراد مع أنه أضيق نطاقاً، وبالتالى فأن استخدام تحليل المضمون فى الإعلام والعلوم السياسية أدق من تلحيل المحتوى، لآن الباحث يتعامل مع مضامين تتسم بالخصوصية. أما ما يتعلق بالمعالجات الإحصائية فقد إكتفينا بما تمس الحاجة إليه.
