إن مقيد هذه الحروف -عفا الله عنه- أراد أن يبين فى هذه الرسالة ما تيسر من أوجه الجمع بين الآيات التى يظن بها التعارض في القرآن العظيم، مرتباً لها بحسب ترتيب السور، يذكر الجمع بين الآيتين غالباً في محل الأولى منهما، وربما يذكر الجمع عند محل الأخيرة، وربما يكتفى بذكر الجمع عند الأولى، وربما يحيل عليه عند محل الأخيرة، ولا سيما إذا كانت السورة ليس فيها مما يظن تعارضه إلا تلك الآيه، فإنه لا يترك ذكرها والإحالة على الجمع المتقدم. وسميته:((دفع إيهام الاضطراب عن آيات الكتاب)).
ويليه كتاب أخر وهو "منع جواز المجاز فى المنزل للتعبد والإعجاز" حيث أننا رأينا جل أهل هذا الزمان يقولون بجواز المجاز في القرآن، ولم ينتبهوا لان هذا المنزل للتعبد والإعجاز كله حقائق وليس فيه مجاز، وأن القول فيه بالمجاز ذريعة لنفي كثير من صفات الكمال والجلال، وأن نفى ما ثبت في كتاب أو سنة لا شك في أنه محال، أردنا أن نبين في هذه الرسالة ما يفهم منه الحاذق الذائق أن القرآن كله حقائق، وكيف يمكن أن يكون شئ منه غير حقيقة، وكل كلمة منه بغاية الكمال جديرة حقيقة. والمقصود من هذه الرسالة نصيحة المسلمين وتحذيرهم من نفي صفات الكمال والجلال، التى أثبتها الله لنفسه في كتابه العزيز، بادعاء أنها مجاز، وأن المجاز يجوز نفيه، لأن ذلك من أعظم وسائل التعطيل
