الكتاب يحوي ثلاثة وسبعين موضوعًا من آثار الإمام محمد ماضي أبو العزائم، أغلبها أُلقيَ قبل صلاة الجمعة بعد الدخول إلى المسجد أثناء قراءة المقرئ لقرآن الجمعة قبل الأذان، وهي أفكار تلوح مع سماع الآيات تُملى للجالس بجوار الإمام أبي العزائم في انتظار صعود إمام المسجد للمنبر لخطبة الجمعة، ومعظمها تكون معاني مرتبطة بسورة الكهف والآيات التي تتُلى، وبعضًا منها دروس أو حكم أمليت أثناء الدرس بعد الصلاة .
