"طيبة النشر في القراءات العشر والكشف على القراءات وتوجيهها" لابن "الجزري" متن في القراءة يعتبر فريداً في بابه، حيث لم ينسج أحد فقط على سؤاله، ولم يزل المسلمون في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها، وبخاصة المشتغلين بالقراءات يحفظونه، ويتلقون القراءات التي بمضمنه، لأن هذا المتن يعتبر الدرة الفردية التي لا منافس لها. إلا أنه وبالرغم من الأهمية التي يحتلها لم يلق هذا المتن "لغاية اللازمة حتى لم يسع أحد من المحققين لفك رموزه وتوضيح مقصوده.
لذلك اهتم الدكتور "محمد سالم محيسن" بشرحه في كتابه "الهادي" الذي بين يدينا سالكاً المنهج الآتي، أولاً: صدر الشرح بمتن الطبية، ثم شرح ألفاظ المتن شرحاً علمياً، مبيناً القراءة الواردة عن كل إمام م ن الأئمة العشر، أو عن أحد رواة هؤلاء الأئمة بطريقة سهلة وميسرة، ثانياً: التزم بالوحدة الموضوعية حسب ورودها في "متن الطيبة"، ثالثاً: كتب الكلمة القرآنية التي جاءت فيها قراءات مشيراً إلى سورتها، ورقم آيتها، رابعاً: بعد أن انتهى من بيان كل قراءة قام بتوجيهها توجيهاً علمياً متجنباً الأطناب أو الإيجاز. خامساً: نقل شرح سورة الفاتحة من أصول القراءات، وجعله في مقدمة سور القرآن، أثناء الكلام على "فرش الحروف" كي تتحد وحدة الموضوع.
