هذا كتاب أطراف الأحاديث التي اشتمل عليها المسند الشهير للإمام أحمد بن محمد بن حنبل الشيباني لشيخ الإسلام أحمد بن علي الشيهر بابن حجر العسقلاني. وقد رتب الصحابة الذين فيه على حرف المعجم، ثم من عرف بالكنية ثم المبهم ثم النساء.
وقد قام عطا الله بن عبد الغفار كوريجو السندي بتحقيقه وتخريج الأحديث التي روتها أم المؤمنين عائشة. وقد صُدر الكتاب المحقق بمقدمة اشتملت على الأمور التالية: 1-نبذة عن حياة المؤلف، 2-منهج الحافظ في هذا الكتاب، 3-السقط، 4-ما على المؤلف رحمه الله، 5-أحاديث في مسندها لغيرها، 6-أحاديث عائشة رضي الله عنها في غير سندها، 7-أحاديث تشارك فيها مع غيرها، 8-وجود كلام في المسند لا دخل له بالرواية، 9-نماذج الأغلاط في الأصل، 10-نسبة الكتاب ثم خطبة الكتاب.
