في قصائد هذا الديوان البديع ما يزكي تسمية قصيدة النثر بـ"الكتابة الجديدة" لا لكونها استمرارًا في سيرورة الشكل الأجد وشعريته المنثورة وحسب، وإنما لما تعبر عنه من ظمأ دائم واستشراف برؤيا شعرية تنهض بآليات الإبداع المغاير، حتى يكون له حضوره العميق في الواقع، سيما حين تجيد هذه الآليات الحديث عن مجموعة من العلاقات والتفاصيل المتصلة، وحين تنجح في رسم العوالم الحميمة الخاصة والمحيطة بالمبدع، إذ ليست ريشة الشاعر، تلك المؤلفة من الكلمات، هي وحدها التي توزع الأضواء والظلال في القصيدة وترسم المشاهد الملتقطة من عدة زوايا، وإنما وعي الشاعر وخبرته الفنية هما القادران على وضع المشاهد في مكانها الصحيح، أما اللغة فيقتصر دورها على الترميز والإيحاء.
