لقد تعددت كتب العقيدة وشروحها بالمغرب في القرن التاسع الهجري إلا أن كتب وشروح الشيخ أحمد زروق (المتوفى سنة 899هـ) رحمه الله، تتصدر هذه الشروح كمِّاً وكيفاً؛ وذلك لمؤهلاته العلمية، ولقدراته المتميزة على تقديم العقيدة، وشرح نصوصها بأسلوب واضح بعيد عن أي غموض أو تكلف.
وإذا كان أهل السنّة والجماعة قد تنبهوا - قديماً - لمخاطر آراء الفرق الضالة على عقيدة المسلم؛ فتصدوا لهم، وأبطلوا معتقداتهم بالحجج والبراهين؛ فإننا اليوم في أشد الحاجة إلى تصحيح عقيدة أبنائنا وشبابنا وشاباتنا، وتنقيتها مما لحق بها من تحريف أهل البدع، أو غلوّ المتطرفين، والعودة بعقيدتهم إلى النبع الصافي الذي نهل منه الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم عقيدتهم، ألا وهو نبع الوحي الإلهي المتدفق من الكتاب والسنّة المطهرة.
