ترفع البنوك الاسلامية شعار "واحل الله البيع وحرم الربا" لايهام المسلمين بان "بيع المرابحة للامر بالشراء" جائز شرعاً علماً بان قوله تعالى "واحل الله البيع" عام وليس على اطلاقه، فقد خصص وقيد بالجملة التي وردت بعده مباشرة في نفس الاية، وهي قوله تعالى:"وحرم الربا" لان الربا هي الزيادة بسبب الاجل، سواء كانت هذه الزيادة في قرض او بيع، حيث لم يرد نص من كتاب الله او سنة رسوله يخصصها في القرض، فهي تشمل البيع والقرض. ومن البيوع الربوية التي خرجت منها بيع الذهب بالذهب والفضة بالفضة، وبيع الذهب بالفضة، مع تاجيل قبض احد البدلين. وكذلك بيع القمح والشعير والتمر والملح بعضها ببعض او بيع هذه الاموال الاربعة بجنسها، مع تاجيل قبض احد البدلين. وهذا اجماع مقطوع به، عند جميع العلماء من اهل السنة والشيعة واهل الظاهر وان ذلك ربا وبيع المرابحة لللامر بالشراء خارج منها ايضا بسبب تاجيل قبض احد البدلين. كما ان هناك بيوع محرمة خارجة من قوله تبارك وتعالى "واحل الله لابيع" منها بيع الخمر وبيع الميتة وبيع لحم الخنزير وبيع الغرر وبيع العينة وغير ذلك من البيوع المحرمة التي ورد النهي عنها.
