ما زالت قريتنا منذ عهد بعيد لا يتذكره بيننا الا المعمرون وهي تتيه في ظلمات الجهل والفقر والمرض ويأن اهلها تحت أثقال مهولة من بلايا شتى وهموم لا حصر لها بينما يلهب الكبراء حياة الناس بسياط العذاب ويلجمونهم بلجم القهر والبطش والاستبداد حتى أصبحت قرية عرابى مستباحة لكل القرى من حولها وتطاول عيها الجميع بلا استثناء وضرب على العرابيين الذلة والهوان وألهموا الخنزع والاستكانة وأشربوا في قلوبهم الخوف العظيم .
ووسط كل هذا يقوم حفنة من الشباب الواعيين درسوا ما مر بالقرية من أحداث على الدهر وبصروا ما بلغته القرى الناهضة من حولنا من ازدهار ليخطوا بعقولهم ما يوقظ ذلك البلد البائس ويخرج أهله من الظلمات الى النور ومن التيه الى الهداية .
ويبقى السؤال هل تلحق قريتنا بركاب القرى المحيطة بنا والتى أخذت بالشورى فأقامت العدل والاصلاح أم تظل على حالها القرية الظالم أهلها ؟
ليبقى السؤال معلق في السماء .
