Book Description
الخوفُ هو فكرةٌ تخبرُنا بأنَّ هناك خطراً ما وشيكٌ، أمَّا القلقُ فهو الشعورُ الناتجُ عن هذه الفكرة.
فالقلقُ إذاً شعورٌ طبيعيٌّ وصحِّيٌّ ما دامَ ردُ فعلٍ على شيءٍ حقيقيٌّ وواقعيٍّ ومُتَناسبٍ في الشدَّةِ مع درجةِ خطورة الموقف.
أمَّا إذا كان القلقُ دون وجودِ خطرٍ حقيقيّ، أو غير مُتَناسِبٍ في الشِّدَّة مع حجم الخطر الموجود، فإنَّه يصيرُ قلقاً مَرَضيّاً أو عُصابِيّاً.
إضافةً إلى القلق المرضيِّ الذي يُصاب به البعض، فإنَّ هناك قلقاً يصيبُ البشَرَ عموماً، وهو القلقُ الوجوديُّ الذي يدورُ حول صراعنا الدائم مع محدوديَّتنا، وبحثنا عن المعنى والهدف، وتَوقنا إلى معرفة المصير الأبديّ.
يتناوَلُ هذا الكتابُ أسبابَ القلق المرَضيِّ وأشكاله وعلاجِه، كما يتناولُ أيضاً القلقَ الوجوديَّ وتشريحَه، ويشيرُ إلى الحلَّ الإلهيَّ لهذا القلق.
