هذه شعبة جديدة من شعب الإيمان موسومة بالجهاد في سبيل الله, قال تعالى: (إن الله اشترى من المؤمنين أنفسهم وأموالهم بأن لهم الجنة يقاتلون في سبيل الله فيقتلوم و يقتلون وعداً عليه حقاً في التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن ومن أوفى بعهده من الله). وقد عرف الجهاد بأنه: بذل الوسع والطاقة بالقتال في سبيل الله عز وجل, بالنفس والمال واللسان, أو غير ذلك, أو المبالغة في ذلك. وبهذا الخصوص تناول المؤلف عدة مواضيع أهمها: فضل الجهاد في سبيل الله, فضل الغدوة والروحة في سبيل الله, فضل الرباط والحراسة في سبيل الله, فضل الرمي والتحريض عليه, فضل المجاهد على القاعد, فضل الغبار في سبيل الله, ظل الملائكة على الشهيد, أنواع الشهداء, حكم الجهاد في سبيل الله, غزو النساء وقتالهن مع الرجال, حرمة التولي يوم الزحف, وغيرها من المواضيع الهامة.
