إن نقد الحديث من جهة المتن يقوم على الموازنة بين دلالة المنقول ودلالة بقية مصادر المعرفة: من نقلٍ، أول عقلٍ، أو حسٍّ، او تجربةٍ، وبخاصة إذا كانت الموازنة باليقيني من دلالات هذه المصادر المعرفية؛ فقد استقر في العقول السليمة والفطر السوية أن اليقيني لا يُعارَض بالظني، كما استقر فيها أن اليقينيات لا تتناقض إلا في الأوهام، لا في الواقع والحقيقة.
ولأن إعتبار القرائن في النقد المتني للحديث أمر معمول به من لدن الجيل الأول، وكان هذا النقد أسبق من النقد الإسنادي، برزت اهمية فحص أثر القرائن العلمية في العملية النقدية للحديث النبوي الشريف، وبحثنا هنا يختص بنوع معين من القرائن، فالقرائن هنا هي نتائج العلوم التجريبية، لا من جهة كونها (مؤسِّسة) لتعليل الحديث أو تصحيحه، وإنما من جهة كونها (كاشفة) لأوجه العلل، أو أوجه التصحيح والتحسين.
هذه الأطروحة الأكاديمية، التي ينشرها مركز نماء، يسعى من خلالها الباحث إلى بيان موقف المحدثين المتقدمين والمتأخرين من الكشف عن نقد ثبوت الحديث النبوي الشريف بواسطة حقائق العلم التجريبي، ولو من خلال لازم كلامهم، كما سعى لتقرير الضوابط التي يمكن من خلالها الإفادة من العلوم التجريبية في العملية النقدية، والتمثيل عليها والإستدلال لها من كلام العلماء.
تأتي هذه الدراسة ضمن سلسلة "دراسات شرعية" التي يقدمها المركز الرامية لتعميق وتجويد البحث المعرفي الشرعي على مستوى المناهج وعلى مستوى الموضوعات والمفاهيم.
