يتناول المؤلف في هذا الكتاب أسرار التوحيد، كما بين فيه حقيقة النبوة والولاية، وقد استهل الكتاب بيان أسرار التوحيد على ضوء الكشف عن أسرار علم الحروف، ومعاني حرفي الألف والقاف، ومعاني الطاء والجيم والكاف والعين والثاء والزين والواو مبيناً علم النقط والدوائر والألف القائم والمبسوط، كاشفاً عن حقيقة باطن الصلوات مع بيان شيء من فضل أمير المؤمنين لينتقل بعد ذلك للكشف عن أسرار سورة الفاتحة عن طريق أسرار الحروف مظهراً حروف الاسم الأعظم. وهكذا يمضي في بيان أسرار التوحيد لينتقل بعد ذلك إلى موضوع الولاية ومنزلة الولي مبيناً واجبات الشيعة وفضلهم، مركزاً بعد ذلك على إبراز مكانة الإمام علي ليتحدث من ثم عن مكانة الشيعة وأسرار أئمتهم وكراماتهم.
