"زينة العرائس من الطُّرفِ والنفائس" كتابٌ فريد في بابه، شائقٌ في نظمه، صنفه مؤلفه الإمام يوسف بن حسن بن عبد الهادي المقدسي الدمشقي، في تخريج الفروع الفقهية على قواعد بعض ألفاظ العربية، أو فيما يتخرج على الأصول النحوية من الفروع الفقهية، على مذهب الإمام أحمد بن حنبل.
وعليه، يندرج الكتاب في كيفية تخريج الفقه على المسائل الأصولية، وفي كيفية تخريجه على المسائل النحوية، فيذكر المؤلف المسألة الأصولية أو النحوية، ثم يتبعها جملة مما يتفرع عليها؛ لإستخلاص ما يتوافق مع القاعدة، وما يكون مخالفاً لها، وفي هذا يقول: "فأذكر ما تقتضيه القاعدة، مع ملاحظة القاعدة المذهبية، والنظائر الفروعية، وحينئذٍ يُعرف الناظر في ذلك مأخذ ما نص عليه أصحابنا ونقلوه، وينتبه به على إستخراج ما أهملوه...".
وفي هذا الإشتغال يُبرز الكتاب المدى الذي استطاعت فيه الأصول النحوية من التقريب بين الفروع والإختلافات الفقهية، مصداقاً لقوله تعالى: ﴿كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آَيَاتُهُ قُرْآَناً عَرَبِيّاً لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ﴾ [فصلت: 3].
