يضم هذا المؤلف كتابين 1- "تنوير الأبصار" وشرحه "الدر المختار" وهما من أهم الكتب الفقهية الحنفية. أما صاحب "تنوير الأبصار" فهو محمد بن عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمد بن إبراهيم بن محمد الخطيب العربي الحنفي. ولد بغزة هاشم سنة 939هـ. الحبر الفقيه، شيخ الحنفية، فقيه أصولي متكلم. وقد ذخرت المكتبة الإسلامية بالكثير من مصنفاته ومؤلفاته التي امتاز فيها بالبحث الدقيق، والعلم الغزير، ولما فيها من سلامة لغته، وتنوع ثقافته، لاقت قبولا عظيما، وما زالت تدرس وتقرأ في المحافل العلمية ومن مصنفاته الهامة "تنوير الأبصار وجامع البحار" وشرحه وسماه. منح الغفار في فروع الفقه الحنفي. وهو الكتاب الذي تم شرحه بين يدي القارئ. أما صاحب الشرح "الدر المختار" فهو محمد بن علي بن محمد الحصني الدمشقي، الحنفي، الفقيه، المفتي، الشهير بالحصكفي. ولد بدمشق سنة 1025هـ. وهو يعد فقيها أصولياً محدثاً مفسراً نحوياً، وقد ذخرت المكتبة الإسلامية بالكثير من مصنفاته ومؤلفاته، التي امتاز فيها بالبحث الدقيق، والعلم الغزير، ولما فيها من سلامة لغته، وتنوع ثقافته، ولاقت مصنفاته قبولا عظيما، وما زالت تدرس وتقرأ في المحافل العلمية ومن مصنفاته الهامة: شرح تنوير الأبصار وهو "الدر المختار" الذي هو بين يدي القارئ.
كتاب في الفقه الحنفي شرح فيه المؤلف كتاب تنوير الأبصار وجامع البحار للإمام التمرناشي في فروع الفقه الحنفي حيث شرح ما ورد فيه من مسائل وأوضحها وعلق عليها وكشف عن غوامض الأمور والكتاب مرتب على أبواب الفقه يبدأ بكتاب الطهارة ثم الصلاة ثم الزكاة ثم الصوم وثم الحج.
