ومع ظهور الصحوة الإسلامية في أواخر الستينيات تعاون أصحاب الفكر الإقتصادي المؤمنين بصلاحية الشريعة مع رجال الأعمال الملتزمين فأنشأوا بنك دبي الإسلامي عام 1975م، ثم بنك فيصل الإسلامي، ثم بيت التمويل الكويتي، ومصرف قطر الإسلامي وغيرها، ونجحت كذلك إقتصادياً، مما دفع إلى المزيد من الإقبال حتى وصلت المؤسسات المالية الإسلامية (المصارف، والتأمين التكافلي، وشركات الإستثمار، والتأجير والتمويل) إلى أكثر من 700 مؤسسة، وتجاوزت رؤوس الأموال المستثمرة فيها مع أموال الصكوك والمحافظ الإستثمارية 2 تريليون من الدولارات.
وهذا الكتاب ليس تسجيلاً للملاحظات أو الأخطاء في التطبيق، وإنما هو سجل طيب لمراحل التطبيق، وخطوات المنتج خطوة خطوة، وآليات التنفيذ، ثم يذكر الأخطاء في هذه المراحل - إن وجدت - ولذلك فالكتاب نافع بإذن الله تعالى، مفيد للعاملين في حقول الصيرفة الإسلامية، وبخاصة الذين يقومون بتنفيذ العقود المذكورة فيه، وهي المرابحة، والإجارة، والإستصناع، والسلم.
