نزل القرآن الكريم على سيدنا محمد ﷺ، وبدت أشعة النور تسطع في مكة إلى الدنيا بأسرها، وأول من شهد بالحق على الإطلاق سيدتنا خديجة أم المؤمنين رضي الله عنها، وتوالى الناس تترى رجالاً ونساءً، ورفع الله بهذا القرآن أقواماً حتى بلغوا ذرى المجد.
وممن يشار إليهم بالبنان: سيدتنا أم المؤمنين الصديقة بنت الصديق، حبيبة رسول الله ﷺ، سيدتنا عائشة رضي الله عنها وأرضاها، التي علَّت ونهلت من معين النبوة، واختصها الله بقربها من سيد العالمين ﷺ وحبه لها رضي الله عنها.
شهدت تنزل الوحي حتى غدت معلمة العلماء، ومحدثة الفقهاء، وسفيرة بيت النبوة إلى النساء، فكانت مرجع الصحابة في المعضلات، وموئلهم وملاذهم عند المدلهمات، قال سيدنا أبو موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه: (ما أشكل علينا أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ حديث قط، فسألنا عنه عائشة.. إلا وجدنا عندها منه علماً).
وقال مسروق: (والله؛ لقد رأيت مشيخة أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ الأكابر يسألون عائشة عن الفرائض).
فضلاً عن هذا أيضاً اشتهرت بمعرفتها بأيام العرب وأشعارهم، قال عروة: (ما رأيت أحداً أعلم بالقرآن ولا بفريضة، ولا بحرام ولا بحلال، ولا بفقه ولا بشعر، ولا بطب ولا بحديث العرب، ولا نسب.. من عائشة) رضي الله عنها وأرضاها.
