البوصيري (762 - 840 هـ = 1360 - 1436 م)
أحمد بن أبي بكر (عبد الرحمن ؟) ابن إسماعيل بن سليم بن قايماز بن عثمان البوصيري الكناني الشافعي، أبو العباس، شهاب الدين: من حفاظ الحديث.
مصري.
ولد بأبو صير (من الغربية، قرب سمنود) وتعلم بها وبالقاهرة.
وعمل في نسخ الكتب، فنسخ كثيرا مع تحريف كثير.
وتوفي بالثانية.
من كتبه (فوائد المنتقي لزوائد البيهقي - خ) الثاني والثالث منه، بخطه، في دار الكتب (357 حديث) و (زوائد ابن ماجه على باقي الكتب الخمسة، مع الكلام على أسانيدها) و (تحفة الحبيب للحبيب بالزوائد في الترغيب والترهيب) حديث، مات قبل تبييضه، فبيضه ابنه.
و (إتحاف المهرة بزوائد المسانيد العشرة - خ) [ثم طُبع] عدة أجزاء منه، في دار الكتب والأزهرية [ثم طُبع]، قال السخاوي في ترجمته: وخطه حسن، مع تحريف كثير في المتون والأسماء

تمثل مادة هذا الكتاب فهرساً لأحاديث وآثار مختصر إتحاف السادة المهرة بزوائد المسانيد العشرة للإمام البوصيري. حيث تم ترتيبه على أطراف الأحاديث والآثار حسب حروف المعجم معتبراً في الترتيب الحروف الزائدة كـ: (الباب والفاء) مهملاً دائماً أحرف التعريف والتحليل (ال).
هذا وقد جاء مقسماً إلى أحاديث قولية وأخرى فعلية وآثار، وأمام كل طرف تم ذكر حديث راويه حتى إذا تكرر الطرف عرف الباحث إن كان هذا الحديث هو الذي يبغيه أم غيره دون الحاجة إلى الرجوع إلى أصل الكتاب.
