هذا الكتاب "إتحاف الخيرة المهرة بزوائد المسانيد العشرة" للإمام البوصيري رحمه الله، يخرج لأول مرة بعد أن ظل حبيس المخطوطة. وقد عمل على تحقيقها كل من الباحثين عادل بن سعد والسيد بن محمود بن إسماعيل. ويعد هذا الكتاب أشهر ما صنفه الإمام البوصيري في فن جمع الزوائد، هذا الفن الذي عنى فيه المصنفون بجمع الزوائد من كتب معينة على الكتب الأصول السنة أو على الصحيحين أو الستة، أو الستة ومعها "مسند أحمد" والذي راج في القرن الثامن الهجري.
وللكتاب أهميته التي ترجع إلى إبراز كمية الأحاديث والأسانيد والمتون الزائدة على الأصول الستة، ومع ضم بعضها لبعض تكون موسوعة حديثية. إلى جانب ذلك فإن أهميته ترجع أيضاً إلى إمداد الساحة الحديثية بأسانيد وطرق (المتابعات والشواهد) تلك المصادر التي فقدت ولم يتم العثور عليها إلى الآن والتي بسببها تعرف طرق الحديث ومتابعاته للحكم على الحديث بالصحة أو الضعف أو الوصل أو الإرسال أو الوقف أو الرفع. وقد التزم المصنف في ترتيب الكتاب على الأبواب الفقهية حيث اعتنى بترتيب الكتب والأبواب وبشرح بعض غريب الكلمات الواردة في الأحاديث ومن ثم اعتناؤه بالنقل عن شيوخه كالحافظ ابن حجر وغيره واعتناؤه بالكلام على بعض الأحاديث والرمز لها بالصحة أو الحسن أو الضعف، والتزامه بالأصول التي ينقل منها واعتناؤه أيضاً بما فاته من الأحاديث. وقد جاء عمل المحققين ضمن مؤلَّف ضم أحد عشر جزءاً. وجاء التحقيق بمنهجية علمية اعتمدت أصول التحقيق.
