"يعالج البحث مسألة الاستدلال باللزوم المنطقيّ لناحية قيمته المعرفيّة والمنهجيّة، ولناحية مرتكزاته، كالواقعية والعلية والغائية، ولناحية الاستدلال به وشروط ذلك، من هنا طرح الإشكاليّة التالية: ما هي القيمة المنطقيّة للاستدلال باللزوم في بناء المعرفة وتكثيرها وتقويمها، لا سيّما في ""علم المعرفة"" و""علم الوجود"" و""الإلهيّات بالمعنى الأخصّ""؟ إلى أيّ مدى استطاع العلّامة الطباطبائي أن يستثمر الاستدلال باللزوم تطبيقيًّا في مجال تلك العلوم؟ وما نوع تلك التطبيقات؟ ما هي أنواع المتلازمات الخارجيّة والذهنيّة منطقيًّا؟ ما هو وجه افتراق الاستدلال باللزوم عن أنواع أنماط الاستدلالات الأخرى من الناحية المنطقيّة؟ ما هي نقاط الارتكاز في عمليّة الاستدلال باللزوم المنطقيّ؟ بأيّ نحو تتبدّى الصيغ الاستدلاليّة المنطقيّة للاستدلال باللزوم؟ والفرضيّة المطروحة في البحث تقول بأن الاستدلال باللزوم عند العلّامة الطباطبائي طريق من طرق بناء المعرفة، وطريق لتكثيرها أيضًا، وبمجالات متنوعة؛ أولها المجال المعرفيّ، وثانيها المجال الفلسفيّ الحكميّ، سواء كان ذلك في ""علم الوجود"" أو في ""علم المعرفة"" أو في ""الإلهيّات بالمعنى الأخصّ"". وهو أحد الطرق الرئيسة التي استند إليها العلّامة الطباطبائي في بنائه المعرفيّ والفلسفيّ الذي يمكن استنتاجه من مجموعة من كتاباته. "
