انتهجت في كتابة هذا المؤلَّف توضيح موقف المشرع الأردني، مع المقارنة ببعض التشريعات العربية الأخرى، كالمصري، أو السوري، وذلك في الهامش كلما رأيت إلى ذلك ضرورة.
وقد حاولت قدر المستطاع الاستعانة بأسهل السُّبل لإيصال المعلومة القانونية، والابتعاد عن الغموض، وذلك دون إغفال لأهمية وجمال الصياغة القانونية، مستعيناً بآراء الفقهاء ممَّن كان لهم فضل السبق في الكتابة وبأحدث اجتهادات محكمة التمييز الأردنية.
وقد قمت بتقسيم هذا المؤلَّف إلى ثلاثة أبواب، حيث تمّ تخصيص الباب الأول للحديث عن النظرية العامة لقانون العمل، أما الباب الثاني، فقد تم تخصيصه للحديث عن عقد العمل الفردي، ولإكمال الفائدة، تمَّ تخصيص الباب الثالث للحديث عن عقد العمل الجماعي.
