هذا الكتاب قد كنت أثناء دراستي لهذا الكتاب أقوم بتلخيصه، حتى أكتمل عندي ملخص له، ثم قدر الله عز وجل أن اطلع عليه بعض إخواني في الله فأعجبهم وحثوني على طبعه ونشره ليكون فيه تقريب للأصل (معارج القبول) لعدد أكبر من المسلمين في هذا العصر، فعزمت على ذلك متوكلاً على الله عز وجل، وقمت بإعادة كتابه ذلك التلخيص بصورة أفضل وحرصت على أن يكون ما في هذا المختصر من أحاديث رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) من الأحاديث المقبولة
وكان هدفي في هذا المختصر بالنسبة للأحاديث بيان درجتها من الصحة، ولم أقم بتخريجها خشية الإطالة التي قد لا تتناسب مع هذا المختصر، وأضفت قليلاً من التعليقات لبعض العلماء في بعض المواضع لما فيها من الفائدة التي يحتاج إليها وبينت معاني بعض الكلمات حيث دعت الحاجة إلى ذلك، وضبطت بعضها بالشكل، وحرصت على الإبقاء على أسلوب المؤلف وعباراته -في الغالب- ليكون أبعد لي عن الخطأ والافتنات عليه رحمة الله تعالى، ولما كنت غير ملتزم بشرح أبيات المتن جعلت الأبيات في آخر كل موضوع أو عدد من الموضوعات كشواهد لما سبق، ولم أكن ملتزماً في تقسيم الموضوعات بنفس طريقة الكتاب، وقد ذيلت كل موضوع أو عدد من الموضوعات ببعض الأسئلة لإعانة القارئ أو الدارس على مراجعة استيعابه وتحصيله وتركيز معلوماته.
