حظِي النحو العربي بقسط وافر من المؤلفات على إختلاف المستويات ومن الملاحظ أنَّ بعض هذه المؤلفات تنتشر إنتشاراً كبيراً ومن بين هذه المؤلفات (متن الآجُرُّومِيَّة) أو (المقدمة الآجُرُّومِيَّة).
فقد كتبَ اللهُ لهذا المتن نجاحاً لم يُكتب لغيره من المتون على صغر حجمه يدلُّكَ على هذا إقبال كثير من طلاب العلم عليه قديماً وحديثاً وإعتماده عند كثير من أهل العلم.
وهذا المتن موضوع في الأصل للمبتدئين ولذلك راعى المؤلف - رحمه الله - سهولة العبارة ووضوح المُثل وكثرتها جامعاً الأحكام والمسائل المهمة التي يحتاجها المبتدئ.
وهذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك شرح على هذا المتن الموجز النافع الذي ذاع صيته وانتشر ذكره وقد رأيتُ في شرحي هذا أن يكون مناسباً لمن وُضِع له فهذا المتن ما وضع إلا لأجل المبتدئ فلا ينبغي للشارح إلا أن يضعَ الشرح على مستوى الطالب المبتدئ.
فتوخيت في شرحي هذا سهولة العبارة وشرح الغامض من عبارات المصنف وإتمام ما تطلب الحاجة لإتمامه وترك ما يستغني عنه المبتدئ.
وأمَّا الأمثلة فقد تعمدت اختيار الأمثلة التي تتناسب مع حياتنا العصرية تلك الأمثلة التي يأنسها الطلاب بدل الأمثلة التي ينفر منها بعضهم (أعني: ضرب وقتل وأهان...) ثمَّ أُتّبِع هذه الأمثلة بشاهد من كلام المولى عزّ وجلّ ثمَّ أُذيِّل ذلك بتطبيقات إعرابية وضَعتها في جداول خاصة.
فرأيتُ في هذا الكفاية للمبتدئ فالغاية هنا أن يفهم مسائل النحو المهمة أولاً ثم يمثِّل لها من كلامنا ثم يعرف شواهدها من كلام المولى - عزّ وجلّ - ثمَّ يطبق على ما درسَ فإنَّ أرادَ الطالب الإستزادة بعد ذلك فالمكتبة الإسلامية زاخرة بكتب النحو على إختلاف المستويات.
