وهو مَتنٌ آخرُ من متون علم العقيدة سمّاه مؤلِّفه بـ: «بيان السُّنَّة والجماعة»، سابِقٌ كتابَ النَّسفيِّ عصرًا توفي مؤلِّفه سنة (321 هـ)، قال فيه تاج الدين السبكي: وهذه المذاهبُ الأربعةُ – ولله الحمد – في العقائد واحدةٌ… فجمهورُها على الحقِّ يُقرُّون عقيدةَ أبي جعفر الطحاوي، الَّتي تلقاها العلماءُ سلفًا وخلفًا بالقَبول، وقال النّاصِريُّ الحنفيُّ: إنَّ كتابَ العقائد الَّذي رواه أبو جعفرٍ الطَّحاويُّ عن أبي حنيفةَ وأبي يوسفَ ومُحمَّدٍ هو الذي اعتمد عليه أهلُ السُّنَّةِ والجماعة سلفُهم وخلفُهم. فكان أن صرفَ الله لشرح هذا المتن الكثيرَ من الهمم من أشاعرةٍ وماتريديَّةٍ على مرِّ العصور، وكان أن صدر آخر شروحها على يد الشيخ: نضال آله رشي الماتريدي، فبسطها ويسَّرها دأبَه في كتاب «عقائد النسفيِّ»، فخرجت مناسبةً للقارئ حديث العهد بعلمِ العقيدة أو حتَّى حديث العهد بالإسلام أو مَن يريد أن يتعرَّفَ على الدين الإسلامي بما يكشفُ ما استغلقَ عليه بنَهجٍ اتَّفق عليه سلفُ الأمَّة وخلفُها.
