في كتاب زهر الآداب وثمر الألباب وذيله جمع الجواهر في المُلَح والنوادر للحُصري القيرواني (ت 453هـ).
في متن نظرية الأدب تشكلت الأجناس الأدبية، وغدت كائناً حياً، يتفرع ويتطور على وفق ما يحيط به من ظروف إجتماعية وسياسية وفكرية، فهي تعبير صادق عن المجتمع الإنساني، ونظام خاضع لمتغيرات حضاريّة، وهي من أقدم القضايا المطروحة وأكثرها مثاراً للجدل.
لذلك، فقد كشفت دراسة تداخل الأجناس النثرية في بنية أخبار الحُصري القيرواني عن إمكانية التداخل والتنافذ بينهما على وفق مبدأ التراكم المنظم للأخبار وذلك؛ لأنَّ هذا التراكم لا يمكن أن يتأسس إلا على قاعدة تكامل عناصر النص الخبري من شخصيات وأزمنة وأمكنة وأحداث متوالية توالياً منتظماً، اي أن ورود الأجناس النثرية وتداخلها مع أخبار الحُصري جاء بطريقتين: أولهما / طريقة تداخل الجنس النثري في بنية الخبر كالحكاية والقصة والمقامة والمناظرة وهذه الطريقة منشؤها التراكم المنظم للأخبار؛ لأن هذا التراكم يتأسس على قاعدة تكامل البنية الخبرية (النسقية والموضوعية) وثانيهما / الطريقة التي يأتي بها الخبر والجنس النثري في صورة واحدة، أي يُشكّل الجنس النثري عبر مبدأ التراكم المنظم للأخبار، كالسيرة، ومنشأ هذا التراكم هو قيام الأجناس على المعايير والخصائص المميزة التي يسمح بها النص الخبري.
