تنافس علماء السلف قديماً وحديثاً من تفسير القرآن الكريم، وصار لكل منهم منهجه الخاص في ذلك. ومن أوضح تلك التفاسير، وأقربها فهماً على طلاب العلم، تفسير العلامة الجليل "الشيخ عبد الرحمن بن ناصر السعدي" الموسوم بـ"تيسير الكريم الرحمن في تفسير كلام المنان" فلقد أجاد فيه المفسر، منتهجاً منهجاً وسطاً بين التطويل الممل، والتقصير المخل، فكان بذلك مطابقاً لاسمه لفظاً ومعنى، وتجلى منهج المصنف في التفسير عبر تدقيقه في سياق الكلام وما سيق لأجله، مقابلاً بينه وبين نظيره، في موضع آخر. ولم يكن قصده في ذلك إلا أن يكون المعنى، هو المقصود، هذا وقد جاء الكتاب محققاً وتجلى عمل المحقق بتصحيحه وتحقيقه وضبط نصوصه.
