بلوغ المرام كتاب جمع فيه الحافظ ابن حجر كل الأحاديث التي استنبط الفقهاء منها الأحكام الفقهية مبيناً عقب كل منها من أخرجه من أئمة الحديث كالبخاري ومسلم ومالك وأبي داود وغيرهم موضحاً درجة الحديث من صحة أو حسن أو ضعف، مرتباً له على أبواب الفقه، وضم إلى ذلك في آخر الكتاب قسماً فهماً في الآداب والأخلاق والذكر والدعاء. فجاء محمد بن إسماعيل فيما ضعفه الحافظ ابن حجر أو أفكرة أو وهمه أو أعله الخ.
وذكر ما يدل عليه الحديث من الأحكام الفقهية ومن قال بها من كبار المجتهدين صحابة وتابعين وأئمة المذاهب رضوان الله عليهم، ومن خالفها مبيناً نوع المخالفة ودليلها، ثم يقضي بينهم بالحق الذي يؤديه الكتاب والسنة غير متحيز إلى مذهب من المذاهب. ولأهمية هذا الكتاب وللمكانة التي يتمتع بها مؤلفه اعتنى "عصام موسى هادي" بتذيله بتحقيق لطيف هدفه توضح ما أبهم من عبارات الكتاب وما أشكل من ألفاظه، فاهتم بمقابلة الكتاب على أحسن الطبعات وأجودها، ثم قام بتزيل أحكام الشيخ "محمد ناصر الدين الألباني" على أحاديث الكتاب سواء المتن "بلوغ المرام" أو أحاديث الشرح ومنهجه في ذلك ما عزاه الماتن أو الشارح إلى البخاري ومسلم أو أحدهما، فإنه لا يذكر عقبه حكم الشيخ الألباني، لأن العزو إليهما مؤذن بالصحة، وما كان عند غيرهما فإنه يذكر حكم الشيخ الألباني مع بيان المصدر الذي خرج الشيخ فيه الحديث.
