تتألف هذه السلسلة التعليمية التي بين يدينا من أربع كتيبات تعي بتعلم العرب المتحدثين باللغة القريبة مبادئ اللغة الإنكليزية وقواعدها، ويجب التأكيد على أن هذه المجموعة ما هي إلا برنامج واحد يقدم اللغة الإنكليزية في جزئيات وكل جزئية تتضمن مادة وثيقة الصلة بما قبلها وما بعدها. فالكتاب الأول من السلسلة يجمع ما يهم الدارس المبتدئ من معلومات أساسية في أصوات اللغة، ونظامها الصوتي والنحوي، كما ويقدم هذا الكتاب شرحاً موجزاً للرموز الصوتية وذلك بعد أن يعرف بالنظام الصوتي للغة الإنكليزية. وبعد هذا العرض المفصل انتقل الكتاب إلى وحدات التي تلي الأصوات -الكلمات فعرف ببعض التراكيب المتعلقة بالأعداد وأيام الأسبوع، والاتجاهات...
وفي الكتاب الثاني تابع من حيث انتهى الكتاب الأول في عرضه للكلمات فأورد المصطلحات أو التعابير الخاصة بالملابس، الألوان، الأسرة، الفواكة، الخضروات، القارات، المحيطات والبحار، الصفات... ثم شرح أسماء الموصول، والأفعال وقواعد التهجي والاشتقاق...
أما في الكتاب الثالث والذي احتوى على عدة فصول فتم عرض الضروري من جذور اللغة ومن حاضرها المعاصر المتطور دائماً فتضمنت قواعد استعمال المفردات النحوية ووظائفها في الجملة وعلاقتها ببعضها البعض، وهنا تم الحرص على الإكثار من الأمثلة التي تساعد الدارس الجاد.
وأخيراً جاء الكتاب الرابع متضمناً النظام الفعلي في اللغة الإنكليزية ولما كان الفعل الإنجليزي وطريقة اشتقاقه ووصفه في الجملة يختلف عن الفعل في اللغة العربية كان لا بد من شرح وتحليل وفحص دقيق لكي يتيسر للقارئ فهم هذا النظام الفريد.
