مشكلة البحث تتمثل في وجود ضعف في أداءات مهارات التعبير الكتابي الوظيفي لدى طلاب المرحلة الإعدادية. ونظرًا لأن هذا الضعف يرجع- في جانب كبير منه- إلى استراتيجيات تدريس التعبير، وطرائقه كما أشارت نتائج بعض من الدراسات والأدبيات التربوية المتخصصة في تعليم اللغة العربية؛ فإن الباحث يقدم استراتيجية تدريس مقترحة في ضوء نظرية النظم عند عبد القاهر الجرجاني، والتأكد من فاعلية هذه الاستراتيجية في تنمية مهارات التعبير الكتابي لدى طلاب المرحلة الإعدادية.
وللتوصل إلى حل لتلك المشكلة يقوم الباحث بصياغة المشكلة أكثر دقة في الأسئلة التالية: ما نظرية النظم، وما خصائصها، وما الأسس التي تبنى في ضوئها؟ ما الاستراتيجية المقترحة في ضوء الأسس المستخلصة من نظرية النظم لعبد القاهر الجرجاني؟ ما مجالات التعبير الكتابي الوظيفي اللازمة لطلاب المرحلة الإعدادية؟ ما فاعلية الاستراتيجية المقترحة في تنمية بعض مهارات التعبير الكتابي الوظيفي لدى طلاب المرحلة الإعدادية؟
