العيش مع غالب في غرفة واحدة شيء ممتع وثري، وبالدرجة نفسها متعب؛ فالموهوبون ترافقهم في الغالب الفوضى وعدم الإهتمام بالأشياء الحياتية والروتينية الصغيرة؛ كغسل الصحون وتنظيف الغرفة وما شابه، ولكن الأشياء الصغيرة هذه يجب أن "تسوّى"؛ فكانت في الغالب من نصيبي تسويتها.
ضاق غالب بعمّان، فكانت تعتمل في نفسه أحاسيس متلاحقة ومتلاطمة يحاول أن يصهرها، لا بل أن يخضعها ضمن فرضيات حَسبَ آنذاك فيها تفسيراً وتعليلاً لكل ما يجري من حوله.
قراءاته السياسية في تلك الفترة كانت محدودة، كما أشار هو نفسه، "قرأت كتاب لينين "الدولة والثورة"، كنت أعتقد أن ذلك كافياً جداً، وأعرف الآن أنني لم أبدأ بعد".
