إنّ لكل نوعٍ من العلم أهلاً يقصدونه ويُؤْثرونه، وأصنافه كثيرة منها الجزلُ ومنها السَّخيفُ، وإذا كان موضعُ حديثُنا مُضحِكاً أو داخلاً في باب الفحش والسخافة فأبدلنا السَّخافة منه بالجزالة حتى انقلبَ عن جهتهِ، لدفع ما يتوهمهُ بعضُ من يرى أنَّ هذا الموضوع ضربٌ من العبث والسَّخافة، تصوراً منه أنَّ الصَّلة بين هذا اللفظ وما يتعاطاهُ المرءُ يدخلُ في باب القبح والفحش ، لذلك استقبحوا ذكّره كاستقباح تعاطيه، لذا دفعنا بهذا الموضوع إلى الوجهة المادية للاستعمال اللغوي مع مراعاة الأثر النفسي في خلق بعض الألفاظ التي ترشحت دلالاتها عن هذا البناء اللغوي "نكح"، من هذه الوجهة اللغوية سعينا إلى توضيح المستعمل من المباني التي صدرت عن هذا الجذر اللغوي في لُغة الغرب وما كُنَّي عن بعضها بألفاظ أخذت تفقد الخجل ويتسع ميدانها اللغوي وهذا ما أفصح عنه المعجم العربي في كثير من الألفاظ، على العكس من تصاريف الجذر " ن، ك، ح " التي بدأت مُتضائلة في لُغة الاستعمال، ومقصورة على بعض نصوص القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف، ومقولات عقد القرآن "الزواج "عند الخاصة والعامة من المُسلمين، فضلاً عن بعض النصوص النّثرية والشّعرية التي يُراعى فيه الذَّوق العام.
