لطيفة محمد سالم من مواليد مدينة الاسكندرية - مصر 1942 الوظيفة الحالية/أستاذ التاريخ الحديث والمعاصر المتفرغ بكلية الآداب ـ جامعة بنها . المؤهـــلات: ليسانس آداب (تاريخ) بتقدير جيد جداً عام 1965ـ كلية الآداب جامعة الإسكندرية. ماﭽستير فى الآداب (تاريخ حديث ومعاصر) بتقدير ممتاز عام 1970ـ كلية الآداب جامعة القاهرة. دكتوراه فى الآداب (تاريخ حديث ومعاصر) بمرتبة الشرف الأولى عام 1979 ـ كلية الآداب جامعة القاهرة. الجـوائـز : جائزة الدولة التشجيعية في العلوم الاجتماعية (تاريخ) عام 1984 . وسام العلوم والفنون من الطبقة الأولى عام 1986. جائزة الدولة اللتقديرية فى العلوم الاجتماعية (تاريخ) عام 2000 وميدالية ذهبية. درع تكريم اتحاد المؤرخين العرب الخاص بشوامخ المؤرخين عام 2009.
Book Description
تمثل الدراسة محاولة لتصوير واقع عاشته المرأة المصرية في حقبة مهمة من تاريخ مصر، وقد بدأت بما أقدم عليه الخديو إسماعيل في مشروعه التحديثي الذي أعطى الدفعة لقيام نهضة نسائية، وتوقفت عند عام 1952، حيث ثورة يولية التي انتقلت معها المرأة إلى مرحلة أخرى جديدة، وما بين التاريخين قصة كفاح سجلها التاريخ لصالحها، وتنقسم الدراسة إلى خمسة فصول، بالإضافة إلى مقدمة وتمهيد وخاتمة وقائمة المصادر والمراجع، اشتمل الفصل الأول "المرأة قبل ثورة 1919" على عدة عناصر، شكلت تناسقاً أفضى إلى رصد الخطوات التي حدثت نحو تغيير أوضاع المرأة، وأهم رموز النهضة النسائية، وبواكير الصحافة النسائية، وقضايا الزواج، والحراك التعليمي ونتائجه. وغطت الفصول من الثاني إلى الخامس أوضاع المرأة من ثورة 1919 إلى ثورة 1952، فيركز الفصل الثاني "الوطنية والسياسة" على الدور المهم الذي قامت به المرأة في ثورة 1919، واحتوى الفصل الثالث "التعليم والعمل" على الحركة النشطة لتعليم البنات سواء فيما يختص بالمدارس أم الجامعة، وارتباط التعليم بالعمل، ونزول المرأة إلى الكثير من ميادينه، وخوضها المعارك لتثبت كفاءتها، وأبرز الفصل الرابع "النشاط الإجتماعي والمشاركة الدولية" ما أقدمت عليه المرأة في العمل الإجتماعي والجمعيات التي أسستها وكان لها المردود الإيجابي، وعدم اقتصار نشاطها على الداخل، وامتداده للخارج، إذ حضرت المؤتمرات الدولية، وأثبتت مكانتها، وغدت شاهد عيان لما وصلت إليه المرأة المصرية، واختص الفصل الخامس "الأحوال الشخصية وظاهرة السفور" ببيان ما تعانيه المرأة في حياتها الأسرية، وتلك المساعي التي بذلت من أجل تجنب السلبيات التي لعب بها الرجل فيما يتعلق بالزواج وما يتبعه من تعدد للزوجات والطلاق، ثم يتعرض لسفور المرأة، وكيف اكتسب جولاته أمام النقاب، وبذلك يتضح أن الدراسة تتناول موضوعاً حيوياً في فترة زمنية مهمة من تاريخنا.
