الموازنة بين منهج الحنفية ومنهج المحدثين في قبول الأحاديث وردها إن من كرم الله تعالى على هذه الأمّة أنْ حفظ لها دينها من التّبديل والتحريف وسوء التأويل، تحقيقاً لوعده في كتابه:﴿إنا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون﴾، وإذا كان المقصود من الذِّكر هو القرآن الكريم فإن السنة النبوية لا تخرج عن هذا المقصود، لأنّ السنة بيان للقرآن، وشرح لما أُجمِل من آياته.
من أجل ذلك هيّأ الله تعالى لحفظ السنة رجالاً من سلَف الأمة وخلَفها؛ وقفوا أنفسهم لخدمتها والذَّبّ عن حياضها، حتى تُنقل من جيل إلى جيل صافية نقية كما أرادها الله سبحانه. ولو أمعن الناظر في طول التاريخ الإنساني وعرضه ما وجد أمَّة من الأمم اهتمت بحديث نبيّها كاهتمام أمّة الإسلام بحديث النبيّ محمد (ص).
إن هذا التفاني في الدفاع عن السّنة، ونفي الدخيل عنها يُعدّ من أكبر الأدلة على العشق الذي استولى على قُلوب النقاد للسنة النبوية، حتى إنّ أحدهم في سبيل تطبيق منهج النقد ما كان يحابي أحداً من الخلق على الإطلاق، ولو كان من أعز الناس بالنسبة له.
غير أن المتتبع لمناهج العلماء وطرائق المحدثين والفقهاء، يلحظ ملامح منهجين متمايزين في نقد السنة، ويمكن تسميتهما بمنهج المحدثين ومنهج الفقهاء؛ ذلك أن لكل منهما قواعد وخصائص تختلف في طبيعتها عن قواعد المنهج الآخر وخصائصه.
من هنا كان تسليط الضوء على هذين المنهجين يعدّ أمراً ذا بال، بل جديراً بالبحث والدراسة، وبما أن فقهاء الحنفية هم من أكثر الفقهاء الذين تمايز منهجم في خصائصه عن منهج المحدثين كان موضوع هذا الكتاب.
