"على قلق كأن الريح تحتي أوجهه جنوباً أو شمالاً" "وقوفاً على الماء" الاسم الذي حملته المجموعة الشعرية لباهثيم، يشي بدلالة القلق الذي عبر عنه المتنبي. الماء مقابل اليابسة والأرض، لا يوفر المكان الملائم للوقوف، لكن الحال في صورته المصدرية "وقوفاً"، جاء مؤكداً للفعل بصورة حاسمة.
يسلمنا العنوان إلى منظومة للقلق في ثنايا القصائد جاءت مرة في الشك والارتياب، ومرة أخرى بهيئة التوجس والهجس: "نذير.. فتى قيل لا يشبه أخوته /عصبة قانعون/ وذا مدلج بالتوجس/ يزعم أن الصعاليم قد ضربوا موعداً للصباح هنا".
ها هو الشاعر في مفتتح قصائد الديوان "سنة قادمة" يعبر عن القلق بكلمة "التوجس". لكن القلق هنا ليس عائقاً، بل على عكس ذلك إنه وسيلته إلى التحرر فهو مدلج به، الحد الذي يستطيع أن يزعم -وما في الكلمة من إيحاءات جازمة- تأكيد أمر يأخذ شكل المفارقة بين رمز "الصعاليك" والظرف المكاني "هنا".
