إن "ذاكرة الينابيع" يتواءم مع كتاب ماجد السامرائي من حيث عدم اقتصار حواراته على جنس إبداعي واحد، ويفترق عن أعمال جهاد فاصل ومنير العكش الموقوف كل منها على مدارات في جنسين إبداعين من الأردن وفلسطين حسب، في حين يتوزع أصحاب مدارات الكتب السابعة على غير قطر في مشرق الوطن العربي ومغربه.
الكتاب حوارات مع ثمانية عشر مبدعاً، ثلثهم من المبدعات. وهم جميعاً يتوزعون على ثلاثة أجيال متعاقبة، بدءاً بجيل العلامة "إحسان عباس"، ومروراً بإبراهيم السعافين ومجايليه من مثل شكري عزيز الماضي وخليل السوامري ومحمود شقير ويحيى يخلف وطاهر العدوان وانتهاءً بجيل رزان محمود إبراهيم ورفقة دودين.
