الدكتور حسام صرصور من علماء العقيدة الإسلامية، وهو فلسطيني من مواليد 10/10/1964م، وقد هاجر إلى ألمانيا سنة 1995م، وحصل على الجنسية الألمانية.
له من الأولاد أربعة عبدالله، وعمر، وعبدالعزيز، ولؤي.
زوجته الأستاذة إيمان مصطفى إسماعيل الشيخ سلامة، وقد توفيت في ألمانيا في 25/12/2014م، بعد صراع مرير مع المريض، وكانت نعم المرأة المسلمة الصالحة، رحمها الله تعالى رحمة واسعة وأدخلها فسيح جناته.
من مشايخه العلماء: الأستاذ الدكتور محمد حسن هيتو أحد أهم علماء أصول الفقه الإسلامي في العالم الإسلامي، وهو أحد أهم مشايخ ومراجع الدكتور حسام صرصور، وهو صاحب الفضل بعد الله تعالى في حصول الدكتور حسام على شهادة الدكتوراة.
الأستاذ الدكتور محمود أحمد الطحان من كبار علماء الحديث في العالم الإسلامي.
السيد حسن بن علي السقاف مجدد التوحيد في العصر الحديث.
الأستاذ الدكتور فوزي فيض الله أحد أساتذة الدكتور حسام صرصور في جامعة الكويت سابقا.

يحتوي هذا الكتاب على رسالتين الأولى جاءت تحت عنوان "آيات الصفات ومنهج ابن جرير الطبري في تفسير معانيها" وهي من إعداد الدكتور حسام بن حسن صرصور وهي عبارة عن رسالة تقديم بها الباحث لنيل درجة الدكتوراه في التوحيد وعلوم العقيدة في الجامعة النظامية بالهند وتناول فيها آيات الصفات بالبحث والدراسة هذا إلى جانب منهج الإمام الطبري في تفسير معانيها، كما وعقد مقارنة بين آراء الإمام الطبري وآراء غيره من العلماء.
وبدأ الكتاب بترجمة وافية للإمام الطبري ويشتمل إضافة ذلك على مسائل كثيرة وهامة في الدين والعقيدة، أما الرسالة الثانية التي جاءت في هذا الكتاب فهي رسالة الإمام محمد بن جرير الطبري في العقيدة وهي بعنوان صريح السنة.
كتاب مهم تناول فيه المؤلف آيات الصفات بالبحث والدراسة ومنهج الامام الطبري في تفسير معنيها.وقد قارن المؤلف آراء الامام الطبري بآراء غيره من العلماء وقد بدأ الكتاب بترجمة وافية للامام الطبري. وقد اشتمل الكتاب إضافة لذلك على كثير من المسائل الهامة في. الدين والعقيدة.
