هذا الكتاب يتطرق لآيات القرآن الكريم التي ذكرت آل بيت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ويدرسها دراسة استقرائية تحليلية، بين ألفاظها، ويشرح معانيها، معتمداً في ذلك على أمهات كتب التفسير للسنة والشيعة، فالكتاب كما قال مؤلفه محاولة ترجمة ما تقرر في كتاب الله تجاه أهل البيت بشكل عملي وعدم الاكتفاء بالعبارات الإجمالية. حيث تكلم المؤلف عن مفهوم آل البيت وفضائلهم، فتناول الآيات التي ذكرت آل البيت وآراء المفسرين من السنة والشيعة فيها، وقام بمناقشة هذه الآراء، وتحدث عن الآيات التي ذكرات أزواج النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) وعددت فضائلهم وناقش هذه الآيات وما جاء فيها من تفاسير في كتب السنة أو الشيعة. كما تناول المؤلف أحكام آل البيت سواء ما يتعلق منها بالجانب العقدي أو ما يتعلق منها بالجانب الفقهي.
