يتوجه هذا الكتاب إلى الأولاد الصغار والبالغين معاً مخاطباً إياهم "أحبتي الصغار تعالوا نتوضأ ونصلي ونتعرف على الأنوار الإلهية".
كتب نصوص هذا الكتاب الأستاذ "مقداد اليوسفي الهمداني" أما الرسوم فكانت "عبد الله الجعفري"، أما ضبط النصوص وتحقيقها فكان من نصيب الأستاذ سمير شيخ الأرض.
-يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى تعليم الأطفال الصغار كيفية الوضوء والصلاة، وما لهما من أهمية في حياة الإنسان المسلم؛ ومن أجل تقريب الفكرة إلى أذهان الأطفال جاءت نصوص الكتاب على شكل قصص مصورة وقصيرة منها قصة (محبة الأخوين)، (أريد أن أصلي).
-كذلك جاءت نصوص الكتاب على شكل وعظ وإرشاد بأسلوب سهل وممتع وقريب إلى ذهن الطفل، إضافة إلى تعليم الصلاة خطوة خطوة..
أما القسم الثاني من الكتاب فجاء بعنوان: "الأنوار الإلهية الأربعة عشر"، وفيها قصة النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم مكة، وكيف كان الإمام علي رضي الله عنه إلى جانب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في كل غزواته وحروبه وضرب أروع المثل في الشجاعة وخاصة غزوة الخندق يقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم "ضربة عليٍّ يوم الخندق أفضل من عبادة الثقلين".
-كذلك يشير الكتاب إلى مآثر السيدة فاطمة الزهراء رضي الله عنها، وقصة مقتل الحسين رضي الله عنه، وكيف كان الحسن رضي الله عنه عطوفاً على الفقراء والمساكين، وكذلك قصص منوعة لآل بيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مثل الإمام الصادق، والإمام موسى بن جعفر الكاظم والمأمون العباسي والإمام علي بن موسى الرضا، وإستشهاد الإمام العسكري.
وأخيراً يهدف الكتاب إلى تعريف الناشئة المسلمين وقدر أئمتهم ويعطوهم حقهم بالإيمان الصادق، فيقول الكاتب: "ولما كان الناس لا يعرفون قدر أئمتهم حق المعرفة لحق الظلم كل الأئمة وضيع الناس حقوقهم والآن... أسألكم يا أولادي ويا بناتي الصغار: ماذا نعمل نحن، وحتى لا نظلم إمام زماننا ولا نضيع حقه؟ وماذا علينا أن نعمل ليرضى عنا؟.
