في رده المتهكم على من هم ضد التفلسف. قال أرسطو: إن في رفضك للتفلسف، تفلسفت في اللاتفلسف، فالتفلسف صفة التفكير والرأي والتحليل، وبالتالي صفة النقد والنقّاد.
ونحن هنا ضمن دائرة التفلسف: نثبت فكرة بفكرة. وننقض تصوراً بتصور. حتى بات التفلسف منهجاً كلياً بمناهج جزئية. وتنامي الجزء فيه فاحتوى أجزاء أخرى. لتتصارع المناهج وتتباين. مما أصاب النقد والنقد الفني كثير من التخبط في اعتماد المنهج الفلسفي أو مناقضته. مما حتم ضرورة البحث والدراسة والتحليل.
ونحن في هذا الكتاب أمام منطق الحل. وقد ناقشه باحث يؤمن بالعلم وفلسفته منهجاً للوعي. فحدد بداية المفاهيم التي يستعرض لها في دراسته وعرّف بها: ثم حلّل المنهج في المعرفة النقدية الفلسفية. لينتقل بعد ذلك إلى الحديث عن المناهج النقدية الفلسفية الجمالية المعاصرة وأثرها في الخطاب التشكيلي بأبعاده الثلاثة: الشكل واللون، والفكرة: وصولاً إلى توضيح علاقة الفلسفة بالنقد الجمالي "التشكيلي".
والكتاب متسلسل بدراية البحث العلمي ومبني بمراجع متخصصة. مما يجعله أداة تخفير للنقد كي ينقض عن كاهله تلك "الفانتازيا" في الاصطلاح.
