ويهتم هذا الكتاب بمراحل نمو الطفل المختلفة، والعوامل التى تؤثر على هذا النمو ومظاهره، كذلك نستعرض دور الأسرة وأهميتها فى تنمية ذكاء الطفل، وكان لابد علينا أن نشرح تطور الحواس والجهاز العصبى للطفل، حتى يدرك كل أب وكل أم أهمية هذه الحواس فى صنع ذكاء طفلهما، كذلك تعرضنا إلى التغذية ودورها فى نمو عقل الطفل، ومدى تأثيرها على ذكائه، وفى نهاية كتابنا قدمنا العديد من الألعاب الهدف منها إثارة حواس الطفل فى المرحلة العمرية من يوم إلى ستة شهور، وأخيراً نأمل أن نكون قد قدمنا لكل أن وكل أم كتاباً يكون مرشداً لهم لتنمية ذكاء الطفل، ليصبح عضواً فعالاً فى مجتمعنا.
