تعد مرحلة فهم الخطاب القرآني مرحلة إنتاج دلالي وإتصالي جديد، لأنها ناتجة من فهم المتلقي للخطاب، وهذا الفهم الجديد سواء أكان فهماً عقائدياً أم اصولياً أم فقهياً، لا يكتسب القدسية التي يتمتع بها الخطاب القرآني نفسه، فالفهم مهما كان مصدره، ليس جزءاً من ذلك الخطاب المقدس، وليس أصلاً لا يمكن تجاوزه إلى فهم آخر؛ لذا يرى المؤلف، أن الخطاب القرآني خارج عن مسافة الزمان والمكان، بينما فهمه وتفسيره، خاضع لثورة الزمان والمكان، ففهم الخطاب هو المتحرك وليس الخطاب، لذا يكتسب الخطاب القرآني ديمومته وأبديته لا من حيث فهمه المتجدد فحسب، بل من جهة أنه منتج لهذا الفهم، فهو المحرك للقراءة ولا يتحرك هو ذاته.
من هذه الفكرة المنهجية ينطلق مؤلف الكتاب لدراسة (فهم الخطاب القرآني بين الإمامية والأشاعرة، دراسة مقارنة، في ضوء ركائز الأسلوبية) واستوى البحث في تمهيد وثلاثة فصول، إذ حاول التمهيد التقريب بين ما تباعد واختلف من تعريفات لمصطلحات الفهم والخطاب وركائز الأسلوبية. واشتمل على تعريف مختصر بعقائد كل من فرقتي الإمامية والأشاعرة، بينما تناول الفصل الأول: تجليات المبدع في الخطاب القرآني، وهذه التجليات تكمن في معرفة صفات المبدع وفهمها داخل النص بين الطرفين، تلك التي رقموها في مدوناتهم الكلامية والتفسيرية. أما المساحة التي يتحرك فيها الخطاب القرآني تلك التي تدور في الزمان والمكان فجاءت في الفصل الثاني تحت عنوان: مستويات المتلقي في الخطاب القرآني. وأما الفصل الثالث والأخير فناقش: ثنائيات النص في الخطاب القرآني، وذلك فيما يختص لفظه ومعناه ودلالته الظاهرة والباطنة، وهي صفات مثلث ثنائيات متقابلة يتراوح تقابلها بين التضاد والتضايف والتكامل وقد تم للمؤلف تفسيرها ومناقشتها في هذا الفصل. وأخيراً خاتمة ونتائج البحث ...
