محمد المعتمد على الله ولد بتاريخ 10 يناير 1948 ، وحفظ القرآن في سن مبكر .
نشأ في أسرة محافظة بحي العنصر - شفشاون/ المملكة المغربية.
تلقى تعليمه بالمعهد الأصلي بشفشاون ، والقرويين بفاس ، وكلية أصول الدين بتطوان ، وكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بالرباط ، شعبة السنة وعلومها .
ساهم في تكوينه الأسرة ، والتنوع المعرفي من القراءة النظامية والاختيارية ، وقراءة الكتاب ، والصحيفة ، والثقافة العامة .
ومنذ 1990 إلى 2005 عمل واعظا ومرشدا ، وخطيب جمعة بمسجد العنصر بشفشاون ، خلفا لوالده الفقيه الفاضل المرحوم سيدي / الحاج عبد السلام المعتمد على الله .
عمل موظفا بالإدارة التربوية بثانوية إدريس الأول ميضار - الناضور ، وبثانوية المشيشي ، وثانوية الأمير مولاي رشيد ، وإعدادية مولاي الحسن الأول بشفشاون .
و أنهى عمله الوظيفي في نهاية 2008 .
ويشاء الله عز وجل أن يتم طبع - كتابه - الخطاب الأسبوعي في طبعته الأولى برقم إيداع قانوني 2008/1792 ، وفي طبعته الثانية برقم إيداع قانوني 2009/2750 - الرباط ، في قراءة تجديدية للنص الديني ، وكتابه المعتمد في علم الفرائض ( تحليل مسائله بالكسر الاعتيادي ) في قراءة تجديدية للنص الديني كذلك في طبعته الأولى برقم إيداع قانوني 2012/2670 ، وبرقم دولي موحد للكتاب : 7 - 534 - 31 - 9954 - 978 ، وكتاب وظيفة الزَّكاة ، وكتاب الإنفاق الشرعي والربوي - راجيا من الله القبول والتوفيق للمؤلف في مسيرته التجديدية للنص الديني .
